RandomMeetBot ("we", "the bot") is a Telegram bot that pairs you with a random stranger to chat, text or video. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to control it.

What we collect

• Your Telegram ID — how we identify your account. We don't require or ask for your name, phone number, or email.
• Profile info you choose to give us — gender, match preference, age, and language, only if you set them via /settings.
• Location — only if you use the "meet someone nearby" feature, which requires sharing your location for that search.
• Usage data — chat count, match timestamps, and referral activity, used to run matching and detect abuse.
• Reports and blocks — if you report or block someone, we log who and why so our moderators can review it.
• Payment records — if you buy VIP, we store the plan, amount, and payment method (Telegram Stars or a bank UTR reference for UPI). We never see or store your card, UPI PIN, or bank login.

What we don't do

• We don't store the messages you send in a chat. They're relayed live between you and your match and aren't logged.
• We don't sell your data.
• We don't run ads or third-party trackers on this website or in the bot.

How we use it

To match you with someone, apply your preferences, keep the bot safe (bans, reports, abuse detection), grant VIP entitlements you've paid for, and improve the service.

Who we share it with

Nobody outside the bot, except: Telegram itself (as the platform we run on), and our payment processors for the sole purpose of confirming a payment you made.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use RandomMeetBot.
